J. A. TEDDY Young Captain Scallywag is the boldest and bravest pirate ever to sail the high seas. But when his teddy bear falls overboard, he’s not sure what to do. Fortunately, the pixies, goblins, and fairies hear his sad story and decide to help. With his new friends, he journeys to a faraway castle and finds not just his bear, but a room where all the world’s lost teddy bears are being held prisoner! Like any hero would, Captain Scallywag sets them free. But when he wakes up in the night, he discovers something strange. Fun and rich with fantasy, this lovably quirky picture book by author-illustrator John A. Rowe captures all the excitement and wonder of childhood’s escapades.
